Bride gives withering side-eye to crying baby during her 'child free' wedding, parent refuses to take child out: 'So incredibly inconsiderate'

The topic of a "child-free" wedding is a hot-button one. Some think that weddings are supposed to be for families and that excluding children from your festivities is a slight to all the parents you're inviting. Some think that all weddings should be child-free weddings since children tend to hate events when they're supposed to be quiet, wear stifling clothes, and not scream at the top of their lungs. But most (reasonable) people tend to hold the opinion that whatever the happy couple says, goes. If they want things a certain way, then so be it. It's their day, after all. Not yours.

Not everyone, though, is comfortable with that level of lack of control. Some people tend to think that the world revolves around them and their whims and that they're an exception to any rule that has been laid out. You tend to want to avoid inviting these kinds of people to your wedding.

    So I found this from the article another posted. So whoever brought the baby just flat refused to take it out. That's when I would in all honesty, kick them out afterwards. I don't care how long they drove. You're gone. The sheer disrespect is enough for me to reconsider even talking to them again, at least for a long time.

    my teachers to play bells during the ceremony, my piano teacher played the piano, we had a singer... everything was ruined. We've watched the tape of our wedding one time since. One. Time. The worst part? Neither my husband nor I knew those people!

Some people are so incredibly selfish. "I want to be included, and I will ignore your wishes to satisfy mine!"

    SolomonDRand 22h ago As a former caterer, to say nothing of someone with common sense, young children generally don't enjoy weddings, and you shouldn't bring them unless the event is tailored for their comfort and entertainment. Taking a baby to an event where everyone has to be quiet is just stupid.

I'm buying a dress and my hubby is renting a tux. They say no booze? Bring on the mocktails! They say it's pirate themed and they want guests in costume?
